ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, electrical, or facilities engineering or Master’s degree preferred.

WORK EXPERIENCE
16 to 18 years of experience with 5 Years of experience in a senior management role.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
certification/diploma in facilities management or operations management/ short course is preferred.
JOB SUMMARY:
General Manager of utilities maintenance is responsible for overseeing all aspects of utilities maintenance, including the management, efficiency, and safety of critical hospital system such as HVAC, electrical & plumbing. This senior role focuses on strategic planning, budget management and operational oversight to ensure all utility system function optimally, supporting the hospital’s commitment to high-quality patient care. The general manager lead a team of maintenance professionals, coordinate with internal departments and implements sustainability and cost- saving initiatives
- develop, monitor and maange the utilities maintenance budget, ensuring financial efficiency and adherence to allocted resources.
- identify and implement initiatives to reduce operational cost whiile maintaining quality and safety standards.
- prepare financial reports and justification for expenditures, providing budget forecast and adjustments and needed.
- o Oversee the day to day operations of all utility system, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and Wat management, ensuring they operate within optimal parameters.
- o Develop and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime and prolong asset life.
- o Implement and manage emergency response protocols for critical utility failures to ensure minimal disruption to hospital services
- o Monitor system performance and conduct inspection to identify any potential issues or areas for improvement.
- o Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure that preventive maintenance task are completed efficiently and effectively.
