This unit manages patients both in in-patient and out-patient settings. A full service pharmacy for chemotherapy drugs is present on site round the clock. the out-patient facility (Chemobay) has sufficient beds and manages day care patients who do not require overnight stay, these include patients who require blood transfusions, hydration, chemotherapy or simple observation.

The inpatient facility is available with fully operational beds. The unit is staffed by specially trained oncology nurses for managing cancer patients and their needs.

The department also provides cancer screening services including mammography for breast cancer screening. A tumor registry is maintained for data collection and analysis.
